The little Parisienne in my heart

The little Parisienne in my heart

Parisienne in heart

about my undefinable/weird-chaotic style and my love for french looks

It’s so damn hard to discribe my style. Sometime I’m like a little girl who love biiig tutu skirts and pink or rosé and bows and ruffles. On the other hand I like running around with men’s clothes like huge hoodies, chemises or suit trousers. In summer I like flowy dresses with beach waves and I ardor my docs and leatherjackets. Oh, and I could never ever live without my vintage dresses. From 50s to 90s, I have them all.

There is just one style common thread running through my wardrobe. I own so many striped shirts, each very special and totally different than the other striped ones (of course!!), turtlenecks (turtlenecks with stripes, hehe) and berets. And I have a passion for red lipsticks, clean cuts and colors and Dior. Yes, I am a little Parisenne in heart. Accordingly there are several pieces hanging in the wardrobe, which may be à la Parisienne. I just love to play various roles!

Furthermore, most of my fashion icons are french. Sorry, I may be the only one in the whole world, but for me Carrie or Sarah Jessica Parker never were one of them. (oh my god, I think I’m the only one ever saying that!!) I rather draw my inspo out of fashion bibles by Caroline de Maigret (How to Be Parisian Wherever You Are), Garance Doré (LovexStylexLife) or get inspired by streetstyles by Jeanne Damas or Audrey Hepburn (ok, strictly speaking she was born in Belgium, but beat that being a french style icon and not even being french)…

I hope you enjoyed this little outfit post! How would you describe your style? I’d be happy about a comment 🙂
